Love the creative use of panels. Good work keep it up

Hey thanks, Cinmay! Panels were hard to get right. I’ve been toying with them for months before putting them up here. Some of my earlier efforts were really bad. The key is always to keep it simple.

Great stuff, love the good use of sound-fx and perspective, it’s a real vibrant page.
I’m sure you’ve seen it, but check out Miyazaki’s “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”, similar WW2 bomber-inspired aircraft. Might help you in the way of more inspiration to soak up in action sequences.

Miyazaki is one of my artistic heroes. I find much in his work which is amazing through its simplicity – shape, color, value – but at the same time, there is so much vibrant character in the smallest fluff-ball. I hope I can move more towards his color style.
Oh – btw – thanks so much for the favicon! It looks AWESOME!

Great work once again Paul I agree your panel work and use of sound effects are great. I notice the pages display smaller than the actual image size, is that intentional?

Depends what you click to get to the page. I’m still working out the kinks in Comicpress. If you’re seeing a smaller page, you’re seeing it as the archived version, which is 80% of the full size, for some reason. I’ll see what I can tinker with to fix this. If you click on the menu item “comic”, you should get the latest page, then you can shuffle through the pages using the the “previous” and “next” arrows below the page.
