Yep, another post and no comic update. My hands are tied, I’m afraid. Had work, flu, and various home stuff conspire to keep me away from my wacom tablet. However, much has been happening regardless! Excuses are stupid things, but I just love talking about good stuff that happens. Good stuff is cool.
First up: I’ve put up a new page here at the site, where you will be able to download the finished chapters as separate eBooks for your eReaders! The price? FREE. I can’t quite justify the cost of something I already give away for free, so I’ll figure out a way to merchandise another day. Right now, I’m a nobody, drawing a web comic about a story I find sorta compelling. One day, this stuff will be cultish. I hope.
Next: updates. Yes, I am getting the next page done. It’s the first time I’ve broken my own rule of “do what is possible with the time available” and chosen to only release it when I’m happy with it. It took me ages to get the inks done. Coloring is grueling, but it will be worth it, I think. Here are two WIP pictures:
Colors are not complete. I both love and hate doing explosions. Love them because they’re so darn pretty; hate them because they’re so darn time-consuming.
Speaking of other stuff for up-coming pages, here are some sneaky-peeks at the new characters:

The above is just some doodling to get a cool idea for the girl’s hair right. It seems that anytime you try to do “post-apoc punk hard-ass chick” you can just save yourself the heartache and draw Tank Girl.

The two characters are brother and sister. They’ll be introduced in the following few pages. Hope you like ‘em!
Finally, a quick vehicle design. I have this thing for dirigibles. They’re so steampunk, yet so sci-fi at the same time. This one’s made out of a junked trader plane:

All these sketches were done on my commute to my current contract. Train-time is fantastic for getting ideas down. One thing I’ve done on some work downtime is model the vehicle reference. Here’s a quick fly-around:
Thanks for sticking around, folks!
